The Nation's Fastest Growing Port
The Port of Savannah, home to the largest single-terminal container facility of its kind in North America, is comprised of two modern, deepwater terminals. In fiscal year 2014, the Georgia Ports Authority moved more than 29 million tons of cargo, three million 20-foot equivalent containers and more than 700,000 auto and machinery units.
Savannah: The Aerospace Corridor of the Southeast
Home to Gulfstream Aerospace, the largest aerospace manufacturer in the Southeast, Savannah is also home to more than 30 aerospace suppliers, making it a growing aerospace supplier cluster. In fact, Savannah was named a Top-Ten Aircraft Supplier Location by Southern Business & Development magazine.

"Savannah is ideally located at the crossroads of I-16 and I-95 and 80 percent of the United States population can be reached within a two-day drive.  The Port of Savannah is the fourth largest and second busiest port in the nation and is also the fastest growing.  With a strong manufacturing base, excellent port, rail, and highway access, a strong workforce development program, and the only large deep-water industrial terminal complex with significant in-place infrastructure, Savannah is perfectly positioned to continue its track record of strong growth for many years to come!"

"Savannah has always been home for me but the support from the community and government has been second to none. The partnerships at all levels to support, attract, and retain business keep us informed and aware of everything we need to know to do business in this area. It is remarkable to see and should serve as a model to others on how to get things done for overall benefit of the community."
