The Garden City and Ocean Terminal locations are served by two Class I rail providers and offers immediate interstate access to the more than 100 trucking companies that service the Savannah area. And with room to grow and the demand for diversity increasing every day, the facility has strategic plans in place for its future expansion.

Garden City Terminal's single-terminal design allows the port to operate in an environment of maximum efficiency and flexibility, as well as increased security, due to the concentration of all manpower, technology and equipment in one massive container operation. Add to this a pro-business, pro-port state versed in the unique requirements of international trade and investment, as well as an experienced labor force from one of the top-six fastest growing populations in the nation, and the opportunities offered by Garden City Terminal are unequaled among U.S. ports.

Ocean Terminal is a secured, dedicated breakbulk and RoRo facility owned and operated by the Georgia Ports Authority, Ocean Terminal’s reputation has been built on diversity. A range of shipments including forest and solid wood products, steel, industrial and farm equipment, automobiles, project shipments and heavy-lift cargoes move through this 208-acre, 10-berth facility every day. With 6,674 linear feet of deepwater berthing, 1.5 million square feet of covered storage, and 83 acres of open storage, shipments move rapidly and efficiently to their destinations.
